Today Mummy and Daddy dropped me off to Piggybanks Nursery, Heath End, near Farnham. We dropped Mummy off to her work in Aldershot first then Daddy took me to this strange new place. I was okay at first then started to sulk and cry. My carer Angela phoned Mummy for advice on what to feed me etc. I didn’t want much food, my gums were hurting and I missed my parents.

At lunch time, Mum and Dad came and I smiled for the first time that day. Daddy played with me and I was laughing lots. Mummy fed me and I fell asleep for a long time. When I woke up, I felt a lot better and played with other toys and children in my group.

Mummy and Daddy picked me up at 5pm and I was pleased to see them.

I got woken up early today and we went to Dover and joined a ferry to take us to France. Daddy drove lots of miles in France. The weather was raining and I was a bit bored sat in my chair in the back of the car.

End of the day, the weather cleared and eventually found a hotel in Bueresville near Honfleur. I had a good nights sleep in my cotbed.

Sunday we wandered around Honfleur and went on a boat trip – it was great. We then drove back to Calais and on an evening ferry back to Dover and then home again.

Today, Mummy was talking to Evelyn next door. They were talking about my hair that was quite long. They then took the scissors to it and chopped some off! Daddy wasn’t there to see it though.
